Game Rules
PLAYER RESPONSIBILTIES
PLAYER DUTIES
First of all, you need to know this is a forum game based on a single daily post made in the game thread. Each player will be responsible for stopping by once a day to make their game post and contribute to their own team's victory.
Each day you are responsible for making that one post if you sign up. What you do with the team beyond that is entirely your own responsibilities.
The game will last between 7 and 10 days, and a player is encouraged to post every day. However, (s)he will only be removed from the team roster if they miss 3 daily posts or if they request to be removed.
CHOOSING A TEAM
Every round, players will be required to sign up for the team they want to play, and these temes will be based on certain archytypes.
Signup should be completed 5 days before the game begins in order for an individual to be elligible to lead the team for the round (see below), but players can join at any point.
Teams may have a MAXIMUM of one extra player than the opposing team. In this situation, the GM will play a 'drone' character for the team short until a player can be recruited to fill the gap.
ANNUAL SCHEDULE
January - Joe theme
February - Star wars theme
March - Joe theme
April - Transformers theme
May - Joe theme
June - Fantasy Theme (suggestions welcome)
July - Joe theme
August - Transformers theme
September - Joe theme
October - Star Wars theme
November - Joe Theme
December - RANDOM Theme
ROTATION
A player may only play for each archtype 3 times consecutively and no more than half the games. IE: if a player plays the Heroic team for 3 games, (s)he must then play on one of the other two teams for a minimum of 3 games before returning to the Heroic team.
This ensures that rosters do not become 'locked' in place and cause divisions to form between friends and fellow members. We want people to be able to mingle with each other without conflict or competition. The point of this game is to have fun, not to want to kill each other.
LEADING A TEAM
Each round, the members on a team must choose a team leader who will be officially in charge during that round. How this leader is chosen is up to the team, but (s)he must be chosen at least 3 days before the start of the game to deal with minor administrative purposes.
The leader is responsible for three tasks:
1) Designing a "Character Roster" which the team will field during the game according to the specifications of the Game Master.
2) Coordinating the team during the game.
3) Communicating any team concerns to the Game Master.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Should any issue arrise regarding the conduct of a game player, this should immediately be communicated via Private Message to the Game Master who will work in conjunction with website Administration to deal with the problem.
Should any issue arrise regarding game mechanics, this should be brought to your team leader who will then communicate it to the Game Master.
