I think I just got a gig.

I've never seen the show, but I think I may have just signed on to be in a commercial for punkin' chunking or whatever the show is. I'm not sure what it entails, but they asked for all my sizing information and you might be seeing me on a tv sometime before the show debuts around thanksgiving or whatever. I'm slightly excited.

I just responded to some thing they posted on facebook, sent a picture and now they're calling and asking for my sizes. i'm not even sure which "role" i got.

Needed are:
- One Tall, Rather Heavyset Guy, 40s, Bearded, Kinda Wild Look –this is our crazy character

- One Heavyset Guy, late 40s/early 50s, With Facial Hair (Goatee orBeard), Dressed as a Viking – “Viking leader”

- One Strong-Looking Guy, 40s, dressed as a Viking – “Viking teammate” #2

- One Average Build Guy, 30s/early 40s, All-American (think Mike Rowe)

- One Average Build Guy, 30s, probably facial hair, distinct/quirkylook (think Jamie and Adam from Mythbusters)

- One Thin Guy, 20’s, clean shaven, Big Bang Theory-looking guy

Women: Age: 30-40 and Men, age 30-50; “everyday people”

Probably that last average build guy. But maybe I'm an everyday people.

Punkin Chunking? Sounds like they are going to launch you into the air in a gourd. But Congrats man! What is the show really about?

Launching pumpkins with various style launchers. I saw a trebuchet, a cetrifuge and a cannon when I was there. They try to break a mile, which they did in Utah last month. They've never broken a mile in Delaware.

a centrifuge? that will NOT get you enough torque unless your using laboratory grade. And good luck getting one of those for under 4000.

I never heard of this in Michigan.... I always miss all the fun....
